Best Birthday Ever!

Hello, hello! This has been an incredible week. So much has happened.  I had the best birthday of my life! Sister Hess and Sister Judd decorated the house and made me strawberries and waffles. I am so spoiled. :) We had district council, and then I had a birthday party with the missionaries in my district! We attacked a jungle for this nice widow and life360 church. Vines here are crazy. That night we went running with this running club and got free frozen custard and made some friends. Transfers were Thursday. I think transfers are dumb. I cried. But now I have Sister Newitt, so I'm okay. She is awesome!! She's from Sandy, Utah and just waiting for her visa to go to Sweden. She's incredible at missionary work already and BEAUTIFUL, and I am so excited to work with her. This week I decided who I want to be when I grow up. It's Sister Wasley. Let me tell you about the legend member missionary she is! Last week we had dinner with her family, and she invited her ne...

Love

Good morning! I miss you guys. 💕 Sorry, I didn't email last week. I was at Silver Dollar City!!! It's an amusement park in the old west with way good roller coasters. This incredible family took us. I'll send lots of pictures. :) It was the funnest thing of my whole life! EXCEPT, the lesson we had that night. It was even better.. We were chilling outside with our friend Levi talking about families and how they can be together forever and the things we do to make them strong. And I was like, wow, this is why I'm here. I can't imagine anything making me happier than sharing what I love with people I love. Speaking of people I love, I serve with SUCH incredible missionaries! We had some legendary pickleball matches this week. And we stressed about our lives together because we found out about transfers last night!!! Y'all. Crazy times. Sister Hess is LEAVING ME! She's just moving downstairs though and serving in Chesterfield. :) I'm getting a new mis...

God Is Good!

Y'all, I have never been happier in my whole life. Life is just good. I absolutely love it here. The people are  incredible , and I have the best job. I love serving people and talking about Jesus. I had a legendary week. A big highlight was hanging out with my  friends Levi and Timmy. They've had a crazy past, but they want a stronger relationship with God, and it's inspiring to see. Last Monday we went over to talk to Levi about the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and he invited his friend to come too! It was such a great lesson. At the end, Sister Hess asked them how they felt. Timmy said, "euphoric." Same, Timmy, same. There was an incredible spirit there. It strengthened my testimony of God's infinite love, and that, no matter where we're at, He is so happy when we're facing the right direction and wanting to come close to him. Friday, we went back to visit them again, and our friend Mike came with us. We started talking about God...

Not Weary

I have been so blessed this week. I am so excited about so ma ny things. 😊     First off, our YSA is incredible. I was quite skeptical at first, but church yesterday just felt like I was hanging out with all my friends. So many good, fun people who love Jesus too. We're wanting to start a sport's night once a week so we can hang out more. :) Also, we had a meeting with all the branch missionaries before church. Y'all, we have an ARMY at our command. We're going to do some things.    The highlight of my week was probably meeting Levi. He is cool. He's had a rough past, but has already changed so much. He really wants God in his life. He's excited to come to church with us, and we're meeting with him again tonight. So excited. 😁   Another highlight was all my exchanges!! I hung out with Sister Kershaw in Branson and Sister Barlow and Brooks in Springfield. So much wisdom. I've been pondering getting old and being weary. I don't want it to...

Sacred Things

Hello, hello! This week has been crazy busy, but way good. I went to Harrison (my home)! I love that place, and the sisters there are incredible. We have been doing a ton of service and meeting new people, and just going hard. With so much going on, it's easy for me to feel so busy and pretty stressed. I was reading in Alma 37 this week, and a verse really touched my heart. It said, "Remember... that God has entrusted you with these things, which are sacred." The Spirit hit me hard, and I remembered how sacred what I do really is. This is God's work. My whole purpose is to help people come closer to Christ. And the people I am entrusted with are amazing! Such a sacred responsibility. I have felt this sacredness a couple times this week. One was Tuesday. My friend Cassidy got baptized! She has been meeting with other missionaries but has started coming to church with my congregation. And she just glows. Seeing her take this step to promise to follow Jesus Christ f...

Discipleship

Wow, SO much has happened this week! First, last Monday we went hiking and waded in some beautiful water and enjoyed the old district. Aw, I love those guys. Tuesday, Sister Horspool and I cleaned out gutters ALL DAY. Cleaning out gutters makes you  very  dirty. Who knew? I'll send pictures. I also said goodbye to some of my favorite people in the whole world. I cried. Wednesday, Sister Horspool and I drove up to Bentonville, and I got SISTER HESS!!!!! Y'all, she is incredible. Dream team right here. She just got out of home MTC. She's going to go to Sante Fe, Argentina, but until then, she got to come here to Missouri!! Lucky her, coming to the best mission. :D She is a distance runner. Like, takes her water bottle with her everywhere she goes, has a garmin, runs (or used to run) 55 miles a week, and is on the UVU cross country and track team. So, pretty much, we get along great and are going to start running lots more. She's also really g...

Miracles Are Real

My people, hello! This week has been crazy busy and very exciting. Looking back on it, it is easy to see that God's hand has been in my life this week. And I am so grateful.  First I'll tell you about all the craziness. :) Monday, we went to Branson for a sister's p-day. SO fun! We roasted hotdogs, went hiking, and rode the ferris wheel. With all my favorite people!  Then Tuesday, we went up to Bentonville for a training. There was some solid content and wonderful people, but the best part was that the Spirit was really speaking to me, giving me all kinds of ideas and impressions about the Southern Hills ward.  Wednesday I was back in Branson with Sister Ivie. She is cool! She is such an example of faith to me because she keeps going even when she doesn't have all the answers and everything figured out. We did such hardcore service that day. And it was so hot!!! I got back to my area the rest of the week. We did service like crazy! We got 20 hours...
