3x the Blessings, 2 Thanksgiving, 1 by 1

3x the blessings!!

I got to go to church three times this Sunday! All right in a row. :) Our ward is giant and so supportive, and it was awesome to meet so many of them. We have some people on our team who are going to help us out a lot! My favorite part though was taking the sacrament three times. It got me really thinking about what I was doing and what it means. When you take the sacrament, you are witnessing to God that you always remember Jesus Christ. Imagine how your life would change if you truly remembered Jesus Christ always. I think that would help me more than just about anything. Too often I get focused on things that don't really matter. So I'm on a quest to remember Him more. Let me know if you have any wisdom on how to do that! (liberty.johnson@missionary.org)

2 Thanksgivings 🦃🥧
Best Thanksgiving ever!!! We were stuffed. Twice. Lunch was with the Williams. They got baptized about a month ago and are so sweet. They have such big hearts, and I think it's so brave all that they're doing to follow Christ. Also, Bernice's sweet potatoe pie is good. Dinner was with the Swinneys. We had duck!! They made us feel so at home, and it made my heart happy. Plus, they are from Harrison!!! My home! Well, Lead Hill actually. Such good people that I am so grateful for.

I am HYPED for Christmas this year. Jesus Christ is the light of the world, and He ministers to people one-by-one. Y'all, go to lighttheworld.org. The videos are way good. They'll make you happy.
I love being a missionary cause I get a front row seat to see how Christ is touching people's lives. We had a lesson with this lady who lives wayy out in the middle of no where. She has a ton going on in her life-- not good stuff. And she feels very alone. We talked to her about God's love and His plan for us. It brought her some peace and answered questions she had. I am so excited to keep working with her and sharing Christ's gospel cause I know what a difference it will make in her life.

God is so good! I am so grateful for the people He puts in my life and especially for His son Jesus Christ.
Love you all!
Sister Liberty Johnson

It's Good to be Home

Missions are hard. You give your whole self every single day for a long time. You have to do scary things like talk to people you don't really know and have major changes in your life every 6 weeks and tedious things like create workshops plan. Yesterday, Sister Maxfield and I were both hangry and trying to plan a lesson and just started laughing at ourselves cause we were struggling so hard! But there are also times of complete, full joy that I can't even describe that makes everything else so worth it.  Cindy got baptized Saturday morning, and it was one of the most wonderful things I've ever been a part of. She's gone through a lot to get to where she is now and has a lot of hard things yet to come, but she is truly converted to Jesus Christ and cares more about following Him then anything else. There is such a light about her! After the baptism, she said she felt this weight lifted off her that she didn't even know was there. In church, she bore her testim...

Member Work Works

Guys, let me tell you about my week. God is a God of miracles. He leads us to people we can help or leads them to us, and it is humbling to watch. We started teaching 4 people this week, all through their member friends. Aw, it makes my heart happy.  Last Sunday in ward council, our ward was all excited about a lady named Helen. She had just moved in and used to meet with missionaries in the past. We knew nothing about her, so we talked to some other sisters and Buck was a hero and got us on a video call with past missionaries and friends that met with her before. One of her member friends set up an appointment for us, and we went over to meet her. She is really sweet and says she wants to get baptized but isn't ready to commit to anything. But God's hand was definitely in all of this because Helen just moved in with her niece Michele. Michele is going through a lot-- way a lot. She is a strong women. We started talking and connected hard. The Spirit was there. She said sh...

Ag Girl!

Hello! How are y'all? This week I went back to my agricultural roots. And let me tell you, I know the joys and discomforts of agricultural life.  First, I'm coaching the Harrison FFA Meats team, and we had our first practice this week. I've spent lots of time sorting through piles of old tests from past FFA advisers, finding meat ID quizlets, and asking Mr. Noorda so many questions. And so far, it's going incredibly well. :) I have a team of 3 guys and they seem quite dedicated. They're going to memorize all the beef ID by Tuesday. Second, I harvested chickens. This incredible couple has chickens, and last time we were at their house, they were showing us how they harvest them, and Sister Kershaw was like, "Can we try?" So, we went over this week ready. I cut a chicken's throat and helped pluck them. I felt very triumphant.  In other news, business is booming. We have been so busy! Pretty much the same things as always, so not too ...
